Social skill development is the most important stage of a child life. All parents want our children to be able to make their way comfortably in the world. To do this they need to be able to relate to others and to behave acceptably in social situations.

Basically social skill teaches your child how your child interacts with other humans. Does your child bully other kids? Make them cry? Does your child show compassion and love? Can your child read body language and gauge a person's mood? Does your child know how to share? In my experience, social skills require the occasional bit of "theory" or "parental instruction" and a lot of practice.

Speech development is also the part of social skill development & teaches how to interact with other people. Teaching social skills to your children gives them the confidence that they could stand up on their own two feet in the future. Therefore, parents must be equipped with knowing the proper way of developing social skills in their children. Parents are the first people a child gets to socialize with. Hence Parents have a social duty to take the lead in training their children to have social skills. We cannot protect our children from being hurt, but we could teach them the virtue of forgiving. This is a very important phase in their social development. In that way, I forgive you, could sincerely be said. Learning the basics of social interaction will help a child do well in school. A child that already possesses solid social skills will be less apt to get in trouble with teachers for inappropriate behavior. Not having to worry about what the right thing to do is, will free the child to focus on develop other skills.
